ElainePerched at the foot of this old oak tree I glance at the hills calling out to me. The river continues its journey and flows In rhythm and rhyme just as the wind blows I return back to this place where a window reveals Splendour and joy, yes that’s how it feels. The longer I sit in stillness and stare I allow this vessel to heal and repair. Potassium and vitamin C sat together In two fruits that seem to have been here forever. Nourishment oozes from these two gems Indeed that’s where health and vitality stems. Spring has arrived and the Hyacinth shines Its arrays of colours and perfumes intwines. There’s no better place that I’d rather be Than a glance away from this plant to see.
